This lively couple takes the cake for one of the best dance parties I’ve seen in a while. They picked the Conservatory of Flowers to share a hidden gem of San Francisco with their guests, it was even more fitting the couple moved just around the corner from Golden Gate Park. We aimed to play […]

Right away, I knew Annie and Aaron were going to have a killer wedding.  Annie has a great eye for design, plus, she was planning on making all of the wedding day signage herself! With their wedding at The Pearl, they selected a clean a modern design complete with ceramic plates, black cutlery and fresh white and green florals. There were hints of vintage throughout with Annie’s gorgeous calligraphy and mirrored displays.

Lydia and Sean are two of the most thoughtful and genuinely kind people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.  They met 6 years ago while Sean was getting his PhD from Stanford University (oh yeah, did I mention that all of my clients are also incredibly accomplished individuals?) and were engaged on the 5th anniversary of the first day they met. Talk about sweet.

Margot and Blake’s wedding will always hold a special place in my heart.  Margot and Blake eloped a few years ago in Balboa Park in San Diego (with their adorable pup, Poppy) before they were deployed and then stationed overseas with their helicopter pilot jobs in the United Sates Navy.  They had met a few years before that in Corpus Christi, TX when they were both training as Naval Pilots. They have been with each other through thick and thin, spending many days and nights apart with deployments or being stationed on separate ships, most recently, in Japan.

So much time, big decisions, countless little decisions, plan B’s and C’s, hundreds (thousands??) of emails, thought, care, compassion and love are put into each and every wedding – so it is incredibly rewarding to see the images the photographer captured of the day.  I love seeing weddings I designed and those I came in to help piece together, but what I love most is seeing the visible love between our clients and how incredibly happy and carefree they are – totally immersed in each moment on their wedding day — that’s the real stuff that makes my heart melt.
