When your clients choose the words magical and romantic to describe how they want their day to feel….you know it’s going to be a good one! I appreciated the trust Jessica and Jesse put in me to execute their vision, and it didn’t hurt that we all share a love of black. Needless to say…get ready for a little edgier wedding!
From the couples old world, European taste reflected in the beautiful Flood Mansion venue, Jessica’s vintage inspired Liz Martinez gown, Jesse’s vintage YSL velvet coat, crystal cut glassware, to the modern colors and clean lines and magical elements through florals, cosmic water tumblers, Jessica’s quartz crown and tarot card placecards and inspired wedding day stationery – this was a favorite to design and so rewarding to see it all come together! Each element was hand selected and had sincere thought behind it.
One of the most memorable moments was their champagne tower to kick off cocktail hour! We also loved that Jessica opted to walk down the aisle on her own, and that they included their lovable 11 year old pup Schroeder in the wedding festivities. Guests enjoyed a string quartet throughout cocktail hour and sipped on custom cocktails specifically made by a mixologist for their wedding day, and our couple served their dinner family style for their guests and focused the protein on fried chicken! We love tailoring each wedding to our couple, and loved that J+J were excited to pull all the stops and customize and personalize each element of their wedding! Enjoy!
