It’s hard to begin to describe how incredible Brook and Harrison are, both together, and individually. Hands down, B+H have been the most gracious couple I’ve ever worked with. We are kindred spirits (Harrison and I share the same birthday, and all three of us share a love of romance) in our desire to have meaning woven throughout their day.

Harrison hand carved one of his first big gifts to Brook in a book. In the same spirit, he hand carved the ring box he proposed to Brook with out of another book. Hence, our petals for tossing at the ceremony were filled in cones that were torn from storybooks (you can see all three in the images below).

Brook describes them as yin and yang and I couldn’t agree more – they are truly the most perfect compliment to each other. Brook, outgoing and eager and Harrison a little more reserved but with a whole lot of meaning behind his words and actions. For their design, we went with a purely romantic spring feel, keeping everything light and beautiful. Our florals progressed throughout the event from all white personal bouquets and boutonnières, adding a bit more blush color to the ceremony, and ending with much more colorful arrangements on our dinner tables.
