Caitlin and Mike are the kind of people that you just have fun being around. They’re adventurous, incredibly sweet, super organized, and good-hearted. They had looked a bit for wedding venues and nothing was catching their eye, until they came to Ramekins and instantly knew it was the perfect spot for their wedding. Caitlin loves fireplaces, and took it as a sign that Ramekins’ has a beautiful fireplace in their reception space, and in the patio.
No New Years Eve wedding would be complete without a balloon drop, photobooth and plenty of props to get your guests hyped up for the night. We had a beautiful candlelit ceremony, with blankets disbursed for guests to keep themselves warm. The were married in front of a huge wooden gate, adorned with the most beautiful florals, literally dripping in florals, by Flower Girl Em. The florals in deep burgundy tones with blush and ivory accents set the most beautiful winter tone. It is so convenient that one of Ramekins sister properties – General’s Daughter – is right next door, so guests headed into the all white vintage farmstyle house for delicious cocktails and appetizers following the ceremony. Adorned with candles literally everywhere, we wanted the day to feel super cozy and intimate to their 125 guests. Dinner consisted of awesome food stations like pizza (one of the couple’s favorites) and open seating – encouraging more of a NYE party atmosphere, rather than a full sit down dinner. Guests enjoyed the photobooth and danced the night away up until midnight when we had the most fun countdown, and of course a super rad balloon drop! Cheers to 2018 and cheers to Caitlin and Mike!
