Ariel and Amr’s wedding ceremony on the tip of Trojan Point, nestled on Mount Tamalpias in Marin, felt like we were on the edge of the world, in our own little world of Ariel and Amr. With the vast Pacific ocean off to the right, and beautiful San Francisco off to your left — you can see for miles and miles without any obstruction. We couldn’t have gotten a more perfect September day with lots of sun and an early fall breeze.
Ariel and Amr are two of the sweetest and kindest human beings I’ve ever met — and it was clear what a loving community they have attracted. They met many years ago, but didn’t begin dating until about 4 years ago, when the timing was just right. Amr is Egyptian, and he and Ariel and their families had a cultural marriage for them previously, but this ceremony in September made it fully legal and reaffirmed their commitments to each other in front of their friends and extended families. Throughout the planning process, they never overcomplicated their day, and stayed true to themselves. After the most breathtaking ceremony on top of Mt Tam, they treated their guests to a beautiful family style meal and ended the night with dancing to both American and Egyptian music, which guests couldn’t get enough of! The biggest congrats to these two!!
