Courtney and Wally are two of the sweetest souls you will come across. They have been together since high school and remained together throughout college when Wally followed Courtney to Seattle to the University of Washington. Courtney and I were in the same sorority, and although we were a few years apart, I was ecstatic when she reached out to me to help her pull together the design and planning for their Atherton wedding. The ceremony took place in a church next door to where Courtney attended pre-school, and their reception was at Courtney’s parent’s home. Their day was filled with meaning – family friends provided hair and makeup, the invitation design, and the florals! Courtney and her mom sourced ALL of the plates and glassware from vintage flea markets and garage sales and created their seating chart out of found mirrors, and her mom spray painted all of the candle holders from silver to gold! It is always so great to see the love that is poured in from friends and family, and makes the day that much more unique, meaningful and unforgettable.
It is so apparent how much love these two have for each other and the level of comfort and calm when they are together. Congratulations you two! Also, their lavender toss when they left the church might be my new favorite thing 🙂
